Information about the event city Neuss:
Neuss (regional dialect: Nüss, Latin: Novaesium; until 1968 spelled Neuß) is a city on the left bank of the Rhine which lies directly opposite Düsseldorf in Northrhine Wesphalia, Germany. Neuss is the biggest city of the Rhein district Neuss, known especially for its Roman history, its Rhine harbour and the Schützenfest of Neuss (fair featuring a target shooting competition). The city offers a central position, an excellent infrastructure, a high cultural and leisure value as well as good access to the international Düsseldorf airport. In recent years Neuss became a constantly expanding market for cultural and other services offered. Due to the large number of commuters, fairgoers and tourists, Neuss is part of a metropolitan area with several million inhabitants, adjacent to the most densely populated region of Germany.
