There has never been anything like this before!!! The successful Berlin band Eisblume will appear on stage in HANGAR ONE together with bestselling author Wolfgang Hohlbein (Chronik der Unsterblichen – Chronicle of the Immortals), his daughter Rebecca Hohlbein (Pirates of the Caribbean novelization) and the children's books author Dieter Winkler (Netsurfer). Before the trio will read from "Die Wolf-Gäng" (German wordplay of "The Wolf Gang" and the name "Wolfgang"), next to their own songs Eisblume will also play the title song "Du bist wie ich" (You Are Like Me) as intro and outro that was produced exclusively for the EMI Happy Kids audio book "Die Wolf-Gäng".

"Die Wolf-Gäng" was written by no less a person than the most successful German fantasy author and editor Wolfgang Hohlbein. He had his breakthrough in 1982 with "Märchenmond" (Magic Moon). "Druidentor" (Druid Gate) that was listed in the bestselling list of the German magazine Spiegel for a whole year. With titles such as "Das Avalon Projekt" (The Avalon Project) (2000), "Anubis" (2005), the award winning series "Chronik der Unsterblichen" (Chronicle of the Immortals) and his latest, very successful series "Die Asgard Saga" (The Asgard Saga) he can look back on an almost unprecedented career (more than 37 million books sold). The audio books are produced by the audio book studio Lauscher Lounge (www.lauscherlounge.de). Behind Lauscher Lounge is "3 Fragezeichen" (3 Questionmarks) legend and audio book producer Oliver Rohrbeck, who is well known as the voice of Detective Justus Jonas or as the German dubbing voice of US actor Ben Stiller. He is also participating in "Wolf-Gäng" as he reads the guest role of "Master Urasawa".

With this high-quality audio book series he takes us on an acoustic, fantastic journey into the world of fairies, werewolves, vampires, trolls, dwarves, witches and other creepy crawlies. The cast of the Wolf-Gäng audio books reads like the who-is-who of the German audio book scene. There's Helmut Krauss as narrator, known as dubbing voice of world-famous stars like Marlon Brando, John Goodman, Jean Reno or Samuel L. Jackson. The actor and comedian is also known as neighbor "Hermann Paschulke" on the German children's TV show "Löwenzahn" or from appearing on the political cabaret show "Scheibenwischer". The voice of one of the main characters, "Vlad", is Maximilian Artajo (among others Lars in "Der kleine Eisbär – 2"). Vlad's opponents "Jürgen Hackfresse" and "Oliver Schweinebacke" are read by top-class voice actors Sebastian Fitzner (among others dubbing voice of Cayden Boyd, Max Baldry) and Nico Sablick (German dubbing voice of Daniel Radcliffe in Harry Potter). Vlad's father "Herr Tepesch" is read by David Nathan (among others dubbing voice of Johnny Depp in "Pirates of the Caribbean", Christian Bale as "Batman"). Terrific and well-known voice actors were also chosen for the smaller roles, such as Detlef Bierstedt as "Dämonius der Dreizehnte" (among others George Clooney, Bill Pullmann), Dieter Klebsch as "Nathan der Halbweise" (among others Alec Baldwin, Peter Stormare), Uwe Büschken as "Beltan Fayer" (Hugh Grant, Will Ferrell) or Kerstin Sanders-Dornseif as "Cosma die Dunkelelfe" (among others Glenn Close, Susan Sarandon). The characters of the mythical creatures and the background story are created in a way that they seem contemporary in today's world.

The language is clear and modern, young listeners will be able to relate very well. The stories mirror everyday worries of children and teens, like rivalry and peer pressure, self-discovery and bodily changes – through metamorphosis of the characters. The authors Hohlbein and Winkler open the doors for us to a perfect parallel world, a home for extraordinary creatures that don't have a place in today's society, that don't want to be discovered or aren't welcome. These are stories from a small, old and secret hiding place that's called Crailsfelden. A fictional place that has played a role in some of Hohlbein's books and can most definitely not be found on any maps...!

For the title song "Du bist wie ich" that is played as intro and outro of the audio book, EMI Happy Kids was able to win the successful Berlin band "Eisblume". After their phenomenal single debut "Eisblumen" (Ice Flowers – the frost patterns on windows) (German charts entry TOP 3) their debut album of the young Berlin singer "Eisblume" followed. The album contains 13 lyrical pop songs in total that the singer and composer Ria also presented live to her fast-growing audience in May 2009.
