The group of twelve people that recently celebrated their three year anniversary focuses on the possibly most popular weapon from the STAR WARS universe - the lightsaber. At their stall they presented different models, from functional sabers by different manufacturers, replicas from the movies to self-constructed models. We were informed about ways of modifying these sabers and their accessories. It was explained and presented how a Force FX lightsaber can be modified and saber modifications were offered. Not only theory but also practical examples were provided. The group also performed a great show and offered several workshops. They now put up their report about spacy days at FANTASYDAYS®, including a number of pictures. We would like to thank them and are looking forward to seeing them again. This is where you can find the saberproject@fantasydays report (in German language)

Tommy Krappweis - live at the Union Theatre in Mülheim a. d. Ruhr on 10th December 2009 |

Just a month ago ex-RTL Samstag Nacht comedian, creator of Bernd das Brot and Grimme Award winner Tommy Krappweis was on stage at FANTASYDAYS®. Now Tommy Krappweis returns to the area and present his new book "Mara und der Feuerbringer" (Mara and the Bringer of Fire) live on stage in the Union Theatre (Mülheim a. d. Ruhr) on 10th December 2009 at 8:00 PM.
A humorous and original mixture between Harry Potter, DaVinci Code and stunning facts about German mythology. A 14-year-old girl wants nothing more than not stand out. However, it is this girl who inherited the talent of a Germanic clairvoyant and is now supposed to single-handedly avert the twilight of the Gods that is threatening. Headstrong and defiant, Mara takes on the fight against the mythological visions, angry half gods, lindworms and dragosn... and against the endeavors of her mother to finally win Mara for an esoteric-hysterical witch group.
Elaborately researched with scientific help from Prof. Dr. Rudolf Simek (University of Bonn) "Mara und der Feuerbringer" presents, next to a funny and exciting story with an extraordinary heroine, a lot of facts about the religion of our ancestors - as well as an appendix with explanations of names and terms and an annotated reference list.
Agenda for the live show: Tommy Krappweis will talk about the story behind the story and tell you about his journey from TV comedian to baker of bread and then to TV producer and novel author. He will continue by reading a chapter from "Mara und der Feuerbringer" and afterwards answer any questions that you've always wanted to ask the creator of Bernd das Brot. Tommy Krappweis will also be available for autographs and book signings after the show.
We wish you a great evening with Tommy Krappweis. According to the theatre, there's still free tickets available! Please order them by calling: +49 (0) 208-991870 |
